HYDER GARDEN MATRICULATION SCHOOL is situated in a very pleasant and calm locality.

The School is under the Management of Wadi-e-Hikmath (Valley of Knowledge) Educational Trust. It is a registered non-profit and charitable Trust with 12 AA and 80 G registration from the Income Tax Department. The School is named after Janab Be Hyder , businessman and philanthropist native of Bangalore settled in this area in the year 1875. The area " Hyder Garden " is named after him.The members of the Management belong to the 5th Generation of Janab Be Hyder. The school was started in the year 1999 to cater to the Educational needs of the wards of the local residents who faced great difficulties in sending their children to distant places for the sake of providing best education. Initially, the school was started in 1999 - 2000 as a Nursery & Primary School with the strength of 200 students, with classes from L K G to Std III School with classes upto Std VI .

In the year 2004 school became a full fledged Matriculation school with classes upto Std X . Five batches of students have passed out with excellent performance in the Matriculation Board Examination.

All the students of our school who appeared for the Std X Matriculation Board Examinations in April 2005, April 2006 , April 2007 ,2008 and 2009 had excelled with distinctions and fetched 100% results for the school. The 2006 batch was congratulated by the Governor of Tamilnadu His Excellency Shri Surjit Singh Barnala at Raj Bhavan

The present strength of the school is 945 students. The parents prefer to send the girls to our school as the school is near their residence, they find it safe and secure . So, there are more girl students in our school. We have 45 qualified teachers and 10 non- teaching staffs.

OBJECTIVES OF THE SCHOOL

To provide, through a broad balanced curriculum , an education that challenges each child according to his/her age, ability and aptitude irrespective of gender, race or disability

We believe that all the objectives will develop and mould your child's intellectual, physical and spiritual abilities and qualify him/her to take up any challenge on the cross roads of life with confidence and competence.

SERVICES OF THE TRUST TO THE STUDENT COMMUNITY

Around 200 deserving students from very poor families are sponsored by the Trust. They are provided free education at Hyder Garden Matriculation School and various other Schools. They are further provided guidance to choose their career and also their higher education is taken care of. Guidance is also given for employment as well as entrepreneurship.

HEALTH CARE:

Apart from the school many social activities are conducted by the Trust exclusively for the benefit of the poor and also for others. We conduct Free Medical, Dental, Eye and even Multi-speciality Mega Camps regularly and the trust even provides transport facility for pick up and drop of patients for surgeries.
